Development environment
- Install NodeJS
- Install Typescript:
npm install -g typescript
- Install Angular CLI:
npm install -g @angular/cli
- Install npm packages:
npm install
(inside project folder on start and every lib update)
When there is a library update:
- Commit your changes
- Run
git pull
- Delete the node_modules folder
- Delete the
package-lock.json
(if exist) - Run
npm install -g typescript@latest
(if typescript was updated) - Run
npm install -g @angular/cli@latest
(if @angular/cli was updated) - Run
npm install
(inside project folder on start and every lib update and in case of error repeat the command until it is successful)
NOTE:
When updating the libraries typescript and @angular/cli, they must be updated globally (npm install -g ...
).
Angular CLI version 1.x.x.
This project was generated withDevelopment server
Run ng serve
for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/
. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
Code scaffolding
Run ng generate component component-name
to generate a new component. You can also use ng generate directive|pipe|service|class|module
.
Build
Run ng build
to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/
directory. Use the -prod
flag for a production build.
Running unit tests
Run ng test
to execute the unit tests via Karma.
Running end-to-end tests
Run ng e2e
to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor.
Before running the tests make sure you are serving the app via ng serve
.
